If working with children under seven, you
might have them just string on the letters and the glow beads. Older
children can make the cross as follows:
Decide what color to make your
cross using the glow-in-the-dark beads. Lay your cord in front
of you with the first bead. String the right hand cord through
the bead. String the left hand through the same bead in the
opposite direction. Pull snug.
String the second bead on the right hand cord. String
the left hand through the same bead in the opposite direction.
Pull snug.
String the third bead on the right hand cord. String
the left hand through the same bead in the opposite direction.
Pull snug.
String the fourth bead on the right hand cord. String
the left hand through the same bead in the opposite direction.
Pull snug.
String the left hand cord down and back through bead three.
String the right hand cord down and back through bead three. Pull
snug. String on bead bead five and six.
String on the letters "FEAR" on
the left hand cord in reverse order and the letters "NOT" on
the right hand side. String on enough glow-in-the-dark beads to go
around your wrist. Ask a friend to tie the bracelet on. Put a dab of
glue on the knot. Let dry and trim close. Pony beads will glow in the
dark after being exposed to a light source.
