Contest Rules
- Contest ends at 11:59 pm Eastern
Daylight Time (EDT) on 07/31/08.
- HOW TO ENTER: Decorate a plain plastic
duck. No purchase necessary. Ducks or decorative supplies do not have
to be purchased from MakingFriends.com. Take a digital photo and
send it to terri@makingfriends.com.
Include your name, address and any comment you would like to make about
your duck how you made the duck or why you chose to make your duck. If
you cannot send a digital photo you can send a printed photo or the
actual duck to:

All submissions become the property of MakingFriends.com and will not be
returned.
- ELIGIBILITY: Contest is offered only in the United States
(including Alaska and Hawaii) to legal residents of the U.S. Children
under 18 years of age must have parental consent to participate. Void in Puerto Rico
and where prohibited or restricted by law.
- PRIZES / APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("MSRP"):
Designer's Prize:
"Best Duck" will receive $200 in craft supplies.
Random Prizes: Four $50 prizes of craft
supplies will be awarded randomly to voters.
Winner responsible for any taxes (federal, state and/or local), and
any other expenses not listed related to acceptance and use of prize.
- PRIZE WINNER SELECTION: "Best
Duck" will be determined by visitor votes on MakingFriends.com.
Visitors can vote once per day/per computer. Four random prize winners will be selected in a
random drawing, conducted on or about 07/31/08 from among all entries received. Drawing
will be conducted by MakingFriends.com, Inc. MakingFriends.com employees
or their immediate family members are not eligible for the random prize
drawing. Winners will be notified by email. Prize is not
transferable nor exchangeable for cash; however. If a prize is refused or
prize notification is returned or deemed undeliverable, an alternate winner will be
selected. The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.
- CONDITIONS: Makingfriends.com is not responsible for error,
omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or
destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical,
network, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate
transmission of, or failure of Makingfriends.com to receive entry information on account
of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any
combination thereof. Makingfriends.com is also not responsible for any injury or damage to
entrant's or any other's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any
materials in the sweepstakes, or for mail-in entries or mail that is late, lost,
misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or returned for postage-due. Makingfriends.com
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel sweepstakes in its entirety, or only
the online portion, if it becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human
