This spooky spider will make a great centerpiece for your Halloween party. Designed by Daniel Silberstein and Nikki Lago.

You need:

Instructions:

Have an adult use a serrated knife to shave a flat end on the Styrofoam ball and shave the bottom off the Styrofoam egg. Use a foam brush to paint both pieces black, dabbing the paint on for best results. Let dry.

Glue the flat ends of the ball and egg together. This will become the head and body of the spider. Cut the 6' boa into four 18" lengths. The boa feathers will fray a bit. Keep the little furry pieces to use later. Each 18" piece will become two legs. Glue them to the bottom of the spider.

Glue the left over furry pieces to the body of the spider. Glue on two 20mm wiggle eyes. Cut small triangles out white foam or felt for teeth. Glue in place.
