A. It depends upon the weight, destination and method of shipping. When placing your order on line, you will be given shipping options and their costs. All funds are in US dollars. At that point you can continue or quit placing your order. Here is an overview of our shipping options:
You can get all your shipping prices by putting the products in your shopping basket and clicking on the "Shipping Options?" link within the grey bar on the left hand side. Note: Makingfriends.com cannot be held responsible for packages without insurance once they leave our building so please consider this when choosing your option.
A. That depends upon the shipping method you choose:
Within the continental US, we have flat rate options and expedited options. The expedited options are given precedence and filled first in our warehouse.
At checkout, there is a space to indicate if you need your order by a certain date. We will contact you if you have selected the wrong shipping option so make sure your phone number and email are accurate.

A. You probably have your internet "cookies" disabled. To enable your cookies in internet explorer click on "tools" in your browser, then "internet options". Click the "security" tab and click on "custom level". Scroll down to the "cookies" section and make sure both options are set to "enabled".
A. You can. If it is the only item on the order we will hold your order until it becomes available. When you check out, you will be asked if out-of-stock items should be removed, the order held, or if the item should be placed on a separate order where shipping will be charged.
A. No, but we will place them on a separate order and shipping will be charged.
A. No, the only advantage is that your name, address, phone number etc. will be stored in your computer for future purchases. If you create a account, you will be asked for an email address. If you lose your password, it can be emailed to this address.
A. Yes, we do if you order with a credit card. Be aware that there are often additional charges including bank charges, custom charges and shipping charges. None of these charges are collected by MakingFriends.com, Inc. The only extra charge we collect is $2.50 US for handling. We have no control over other extra charges. Many packages can no longer be insured by the post office. We will not ship to countries where no insurance is available.
A. Returns or exchanges can be made on any items except final sale, close outs, special orders, candy powder and candy molds. Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused/unopened and in saleable condition. Just make a copy of your invoice and send it back with your merchandise. We will credit your card for the merchandise upon receipt. Shipping charges are not refundable. Any additional shipping charged to MakingFriends.com by the carrier will be deducted before the refund is made including including charges for refused packages and incorrect addresses.
A. Sure, go ahead and place your order on-line. Select "check" for payment method. You will be prompted to enter your checking information and your driver's license number. We will put your information into Telecheck. There is no reason to mail the check. Due to an increase in bounced checks, personal checks will no longer be accepted if Telecheck does not authorize it. We will continue to take scout checks by mail.
A. Sure, go ahead and place your order on-line. Select "check" for payment method. Send your money order with a copy of your invoice to:
A. Yes, select PayPay as your payment option at check out and follow the instructions to complete payment.

A. We collect sales tax for residents of New York state. If you are tax exempt you can fax us a copy of your exemption certificate with your invoice number and we will deduct the sales tax before processing your credit card. Our fax number is 631-979-7481.
A. Yes, many of our items are already bulk packed and priced accordingly. Call us at 1-800-559-1182 if you need pricing for other items.
A. Most of our items are already discounted and most of our customers are non-profit. Additional discounts are often available for large quantities. Call us at 1-800-559-1182 if you need pricing for large quantities.
A. Yes, but it would be a special order. There are minimum quantities and these sales are final.
