Mini Address BookThis is
great for Moms with cell phones. She can hang in from her rear view mirror to keep phone
numbers handy.
You need:Mini
Address Books
2½ Yards 1/4" Ribbon
Fabric Scrap
1-3/4" Washer or Metal Ring
Three Ribbon Rosettes
Small Photo
Scissors
Scrap of Batting
Low
Temp Glue Gun
Tacky
Glue
Instructions
Cut a piece of batting 4½" x 2¾". Use tacky
glue to tack it the cover of the address book, wrapping it around to cover both the front
and the back.
Cut a piece of fabric 5½" x 3¾". Lay it upside
down on your work surface and place the opened address book on top of it. The cover should
be down. Fold fabric edges over to the inside of the cover and glue in place with hot
glue. Bend inside pages out of the way to attach all the way around.

Cut two 6" pieces of ribbon for a tie. Glue one piece
to the inside front cover and the other to the inside back cover. See picture above.
These will be used for tying the book closed.
Glue pieces of ribbon over the raw edges all around the
inside cover. Fold a 24" piece of ribbon in half. Glue it to the back inside cover
near the spine letting the ends hang 4" below the book. The top will form a loop that
can be used to hang it over the car's rear view mirror. Trim ends to different lengths and
cut on an angle.
Wrap washer or ring with ribbon, covering it completely.
Use a dab of glue to secure ends on the back side. Cut photo into a circle slightly larger
than opening of the washer. Glue to the back of the wrapped washer and glue wrapped washer
to the front of the address book. Glue a rosette to the cover and one on end of the
hanging ribbons.
