Graduation Cap for your Bean Bag Animal

You need:

• Craft Foam, Stiffened Felt, and/or Heavy Paper
• Yarn
• Tacky Glue
• Scissors
• Grad Cap Pattern

Instructions:

Print Grad Cap Pattern on index stock or use it for a cutting pattern for stiffened felt or foam. Form long rectangle into a circle overlapping 1/2" and glue. Hold with clothes pin until dry. Run a bead a glue along one edge and attach it to square. To make a tassel,  wrap yarn several times around two fingers. Leave about 6" of yarn on one end. Remove from fingers and pinch together at that end. Use another piece of yarn to wrap pinched strands together. Tie off. Cut open loops on other side. Push long piece of yarn through a hole punched in the top. Tie a knot to hold it into place and trim.
