Bleached Jeans
Use liquid gel dishwashing soap for an easy, safe way to customize your jeans. There is a little bleach in the soap which can be applied with sponges to get a bleached design.

You need:

• Plain Jeans
• Liquid Dishwashing Soap in Gel Formula
• Dimensional Fabric Paint
• Sponges
• Fabric Scrap

Instructions:

Pre-wash jeans. Cut sponge into a heart shape (or make your own design). Dampen sponge. Pour dishwashing liquid onto a plate. Press sponge into dishwashing liquid and press onto fabric scrap. Practice until you get even coverage of gel onto fabric scrap.

Stamp jeans on one side let sit up 1/2 hour. Less time if you want a less obvious design. Wash and dry jeans. Repeat with other side.

Outline some or all of your designs with fabric paint. Add other details if desired.
