 Safety Pin Necklace
The necklace is a companion accessory
to our funky coil bracelet. Very cool.
You Need:
Instructions:
Squeeze the heads of closed safety pins with pliers to keep them from
opening up when you are wearing your necklace. String on about 40 4mm
beads. String on a safety pin (through the coil at the end), followed by
a 4mm bead. Continue alternating pins and beads until you
have 15 pins on the necklace form. Fill the remaining space with 4mm
beads. Using pliers bend a small loop and the end to hold the beads in
place.
The colored pins make this necklace really special but if you are on
a budget or work with large groups, this project can also be made with
silver or gold pins.
