Instructions:
Cut satin cord into 8ā³ lengths. Fold in half and halfĀ hitch to a key ring by placing the folded end down through the key ring and drawing the cord ends down through the folded end loop. Diagram at right shows how the key ring will look with cord half hitched to it.
One each end of the cord string on one red, one white and one blue star shaped pony bead. Tie a knot at the end to hold beads in place.

This was a cute & simple craft for the girls to make & share with our veterans at our local Veterans Day event. We made them a week ahead of time, and each girl stored them in a ziplock bag until the event. Unfortunately, a bunch of them came apart in the bags which made for a slight disaster at our event. Beads bouncing everywhere, and lots of rings & strings left in the bags. You have to make sure to cinch these up tight. Before you tie the ends, push the beads all the way up against the ring, they tie the knot to hold the beads in place. This will help them not fall apart while in use.
