Print and cut out clock, arrows, and
events. Use brass fastener to attach arrows as hands on clock.
Explain how the hands on a clock move and
how the numbers on the clock represent a time of day. Discuss the day's activities and
select an illustration to represent each activity. Cut them out and glue onto the clock in
the expected time slot. As the day progresses, you can compare your activities with the
actual time and make changes to your clock accordingly.
Idea:
Use scanned photos of special people and places to glue onto your clock to represent
playdates, visits to grandma, daddy's return from work... any special event the child will
look forward to.
