Mini Retro Magnets
These magnets are hot! I've
seen them sold for more than a dollar each. You can make them for just a few cents and
they come out great! Not into retro? You can use anything to make these... wrapping paper,
scrapbook paper, printed tissue paper.
You need:
Instructions:
Choose the design you wish to make into a magnet by laying
a gem over the area to see how it looks. Image will magnify under the gem. Cut a 1"
piece of double sided adhesive. Remove the backing from one side and stick it to the right
side of the design. Peal the backing from the top side and securely press the gem over the
design.
Cut another 1" piece of double sided adhesive. Remove
the backing from one side and stick it to the bottom of the gemstone over the back of the
design. Peal the backing from the bottom side and securely press a piece of magnet to the
area.
Trim closely all the way around so the magnet doesn't
when you view the gem from the top.
