Name Hanger
Make a western-styled hanger for your name or favorite saying.
Note: Pre-braided hemp shown in photo is no longer available you can braid hemp to get the same look or substitute braided metallic cord or braided leather-like cord.

You need:

Weathered Wood Sign Blank
Horseshoe Confetti
Mini Vine Stars
Braided Metallic Cord, Braided Leather-Like Cord or Hemp
Tacky Glue
Brown Acrylic Paint
Disposable Plastic or Paper Bowl
Permanent Markers

Instructions:

Mix a small amount of brown acrylic paint in a disposable bowl with 1/2 cup of water. Dip a paper towel or cloth rag to into the mixture and rub on the weathered sign blank. Add more paint to get a darker color.

Cut two pieces of braided cord 8" and one piece 12". Glue one of the 8" pieces along the top of the sign and one along the bottom. Glue the 12" piece to the back for a hanger.

Use permanent markers to write your name or saying on the hanger. glue on confetti and star embellishments.
