Pikachu Costume
Easy to make, comfortable to wear, this Pikachu costume will be a big hit with your little Pokemon.

You need:

• Three 12" x 18" Yellow Craft Foam
• Red Craft Foam
• Black Craft Foam
• Orange Craft Foam
• White Craft Foam
• Low Temp Glue Gun
• Stapler
• Yellow Sweat Suit or Pajamas
• Pattern for Right Ear
• Pattern for Left Ear
• Pattern for Face
• Pattern for Tail Top
• Pattern for Tail  Middle
• Pattern for Tail  Bottom

Instructions:

Run out 2 sets of patterns for headpiece and tail. Tape them together at dotted lines.

Staple the headpiece to yellow craft foam and cut out. Cut the ear tips, nose, eyes and mouth out of black foam, cheeks out of red, and eye highlights out of white foam. Glue on to headpiece.  Cut two 2" x 18" strips of craft foam and overlap the ends and glue them together. Fit around child's heads, trim off excess and glue. Glue face on to the front of the band.

The tail will not fit completely on the yellow foam. Make sure the top and middle are on completely and fit as much as the bottom on as possible. Cut out. Cut the bottom part out of Orange foam. Line up and glue on top of the yellow part of the tail. Staple the bottom of the tail to the bottom back of the sweat shirt. Put another staple at the back of the neck to the tail to hold it upright.

You can also paint orange stripes on the back of the sweatshirt.
