Craft Foam Beanie

Ages 7 & up.

You need:

• Star Pattern
• Craft Foam: 1 Sheet each of Blue, White, and Red
• Tacky Glue and Clothespins or Craft Foam Glue
• Stapler
• Scissors

Instructions:

Measure around child's head. Use blue craft foam to make a 3" band that is 2" bigger than child's head measurement. Glue into circle. Using clothes pins to hold until dry.

Cut five red and five white strips measuring 1½" x 12". Glue one red strip to the inside of the band attaching both ends, each on an opposite side. Glue one white strip next to it crossing over the red strip already glued. Continue in this way until crown is filled. Use clothes pins to hold in place until dry. You may have to adjust the spacing of the  strips to get crown filled evenly.

Print star pattern. Cut 3 stars out of white craft foam. Glue to the front of the blue band.
