Clothespin
Dragonfly Magnet
Use recycled punchinella ribbon to make bold, colorful dragonfly
magnets. They make great note holders for the refrigerator.
What is punchinella? It's the
sparkly ribbon left over when sequins are made. We purchase it in bulk
from the recycling center and roll it into smaller pieces for
resale.
You need:

Instructions:
Paint clothespin. Let dry. Holding the pieces horizontally (the long
way), fan fold both pieces of punchinella in a tight fold. Stack one on
top of the other and push the pipe cleaner through folded fan at the
middle. String on two metallic pony beads and push the pipe cleaner down
through an adjacent hole. Twist together under the beads. Hot glue to
the clothespin. Bend the end into a loop, trimming to size.
