Pony Bead Pattern You need:
--68 Purple Pony Beads
--3 Black Pony Beads
--2 Yards Satin Cord
--1 Lanyard Hook
 Basic Instructions:
Fold your wire or cord in half to find the
center. Use a half hitch (see detail below) to secure it to lanyard hook. Lace beads using
the pattern above right as a guide.
 To make ears:
After your first row (beads
1-3), string beads 4 -8, looping cord around and feeding again though beads 4 and 5.
Repeat with other side. |

 To make arms:
After completing the 4th row,
string beads A-G. Wrap cord around Bead G and feed back through beads F to B (don't string
back through Bead A). Repeat for other arm.  To make legs:
After the last body row (beads
a-c), string beads d-j (skip bead h). Loop cord around bead j. Then back through bead i,
add bead h and continue through g, f, e, skip d and c, then feed through bead b. Repeat
for other side.
To Finish:
Tie off between legs with a double knot. |
