Pony Bead Pattern
You need:
--88 White Pony Beads
--2 Black Pony Beads
--12 Orange Pony Beads
--7 Feet Satin Cord
--1 Lanyard Hook
 Basic Instructions:
Cut cord into 2 pieces. One 6' and one 1'.
Fold the 6' cord in half to find the center. Use a half hitch (see detail at right) to
secure it to lanyard hook. Lace beads using the pattern at right as a guide.
To make feet:
After lacing Row K, string
beads 2 to 6. Loop around and go back through bead 4. Then lace back through beads 3-1.
Add beads 7, 6, 5. then lace back through bead 4. Repeat for other foot.
To make wings:
Lace back through Rows J &
I. String beads 8-15, wrap cord around bead 15 and lace back through bead 14. String beads
16-19. Lace back though Row H. Tie a knot in cord close to beads. Repeat for other wing. |
