Girl Scout Trefoil Pony Bead Pattern

This wider pattern may need extra support with wire or by lacing twice. A stiff 1/4″ ribbon should also work. If you prefer, you can push a toothpick with white glue on it through the second row. Trimming flush with beads.

You need:

• 39 Green Pony Beads
• 4′ Satin Cord
• 1 Lanyard Hook

Instructions:

Fold your cord in half to find the center. Use a half hitch (see detail above) to secure it to lanyard hook. Lace beads using pattern above as a guide. For 2nd row, lace beads 1-5 first then add beads A,B,C,D before beginning 3rd row. Finish by tying off with a double knot.
