Kiddie Seat
Your little one will love to have their own seat complete with a storage compartment for their favorite toys.

You Need:

Instructions:

Open and close the tin many times to loosen the seal. This will make it easier for a child to open and close the tin.

Cut four pieces of cotton batting the same size as the tin lid. Cut a 13½" circle out of fabric.

Center all four pieces of cotton batting on the lid. Center the fabric on top of the batting. Begin attaching the fabric by placing a dot of hot glue near the lip of the cover. Press fabric to the glue using the lip to line up the edge of the fabric. Directly across the lid place another dab of hot glue and secure the fabric. Halfway between these to spots attach again. Continue until entire fabric circle is secured, making small gathers to fit to lid.

Many tins are nicely decorated and will need no additional work. You can also paint and/or decoupage tins to make them match your child's room.
