You can use contact paper to cover these boxes or get some sign vinyl for these bright colors. This vinyl is from a local sign shop. They use brightly colored vinyl with adhesive backing to make signs. Your local shop probably has pieces too small for their use. These pieces make a great craft supply!

You Need:

Instructions:

Break apart two corners on one long side of the box top. Place top on box. Lift the edge that has been broken and apply a bead of hot glue under the flap. Press down on to box until dry. Cover the entire box with pieces on contact paper or sign vinyl. Use pieces 2" or smaller and overlap. Larger pieces will wrinkle and be harder to lay smoothly. Work the vinyl right over the glued flap in the back of the box. Turn edges to the inside of the box at lid and box opening.
