Round Spinners
You choose the pattern or design your own. Makes a great party decoration. Hang them outside and watch them spin!

You Need:

• Computer
• Color Printer
• White Index
• Patterns -- Tie Dye, Big Stars, Small Stars, Small Stripes, Big Stripes
• Glue
• Crepe Paper Streamers and/or
  Curling Ribbon
• String
• Scissors
• Hole Punch

Instructions:

Print eight circles with your choice of patterns. Cut out. Each circle is divided into quarters by 3 dotted lines and one solid line. Cut on the solid line to the center of the circle.
Crease on the dotted lines, folding printed pattern to the inside. First one way, then the other way.
Form a pocket to catch the wind by folding as shown, overlapping one quarter of the circle onto the next quarter. Glue overlap into place. Repeat for all eight pieces.
Glue four of the pockets together to create a circle. Repeat with other four. Glue these two circles back to back forming a ball.
Use punch to make 2 holes in the top of the ball about 1/2" from the edge. Feed string through. Tie ends.
Make 4 to 8 holes in the bottom of the ball. Pull a 3' length of ribbon half way through each hole securing with a knot. Hang from tree and watch it spin.
