Baseball Cap

You Need:

• 2 Yards Plastic Lace
  (1 yard each of 2 colors)
• Plastic Clip
• Small Baseball Cap for Dolls
• Baseball Bead
• Four Pony Beads
• Hole Punch
• Scrap of Craft Foam

Instructions:

Making the half hitch:
Fold both pieces of plastic lace in half and half hitch them to the metal key ring of the back pack clip by placing the folded end down through the ring and drawing the cord ends down through the folded end loop. Diagram at right shows how the ring will look with one cord half hitched to it. Your ring will have two cords half hitched so you will have 4 working cords. Tape the clip to your table top.

Tape the middle two pieces of plastic lace to your table top at least 8" from the clip pulled taught. These will be your holding cords. The other two will be your working cords. Make 3" of square knots. Slide on a baseball bead. Tie off and add a pony bead to each end. Tie off and trim.

Making the square knots:
Cross strand 1 over strands 2 & 3 and under strand 4.	| Bring strand 4 under strands 2 & 3, then up through the loop created by strand 1. Tighten.	Cross strand 1 over strands 2 & 3 and under strand 4.	Bring strand 4 under strands 2 & 3, then up through the loop created by strand 1. Tighten.
