Blue & Gold Cowboy Centerpiece
Go back in time and make a cowboy centerpiece for you Blue & Gold Dinner. Order extra hats for your boys to wear!

You need:

• Blue Felt Cowboy Hat
• 6" Styrofoam Ball
• Acrylic Paint in your Choice of Skin Color and Hair Color
• Foam Brush
• Scraps or Red and Skin Color Craft Foam
• Gold Fluer-de-Lis (1 medium, 1 small)
• 3" Paper Mache Box
• Red Bandanna
• 35mm Wiggle Eyes
• 2 Craft Sticks
• Low Temp Hot Glue Gun
• Rubber Band
• Scissors

Instructions:

Remove the lid from a 3" styrofoam box and set aside for another craft. Paint the paper mache box in your choice of skin color. Paint the 6" styrofoam ball in the same color. Balance the ball on the top of the open 3" box as you work to keep it from rolling around. Push a craft stick down half way in the top of the styrofoam ball to use as handle for holding. It will also help hold the hat in place. Let dry. Use hot glue to attach ball (head) to box (neck). Paint on hair if desired.

To make the ears, cut two ear shapes out of craft foam. Cut a craft stick in half. Glue one end of each half of the craft stick to the back of a foam ear shape and push the other end into the head -- one of each side. Glue on wiggle eyes. Cut a mouth from red craft foam. Glue in place. Fold a bandanna in half diagonally and wrap around the neck using a rubber band to hold it in place. Glue on a small fleur-de-lis cut out.

Gently peel the silver star off the hat. and glue on a medium fleur-de-lis shape. Position on the head using the protruding craft stick to support it. Hot Glue in place.
