Patriotic Blue and Gold Centerpiece
This dramatic centerpiece is just right for our patriotic country.

You need:

• Flag Pattern
• White Paper
• One Half of a 6" Styrofoam Ball
• Metallic Pony Beads
• Tacky Glue
• Glue Stick
• Low Temp Glue Gun
• Foam Brush
• Two Large Scout Fleur-de Lis
• Eight Small Scout Fleur-de Lis
• Markers
• Blue Paint
• Wooden Skewers (from the Supermarket)
• Scissors
• Serrated Knife and Adult

Instructions:

Ask an adult to cut a 6" Styrofoam ball in half. Use a foam brush to paint the half you will be using. Set aside to dry.

Use hot glue to glue a gold pony bead on the end of eight skewers. Print Flag Pattern two times. Cut out the four flags. Cover the backs with glue from a glue stick and fold around the end of the skewer right below the gold bead. Make four den flags and glue them on to the remaining skewers. Cut two inches off the den flags. Push the eight flags evenly spaced around the painted half Styrofoam ball.

Glue two large gold fleur-de-lis back-to-back on the end of a skewer. Cut 3" off the end of the skewer and push into the top of the half ball. Decorate the sides with small gold fleur-de-lis.
