Blue & Gold Treasure Box
Blinking blue and yellow lights makes this projects extra special.  Add Chinese coins for your Asian Themed Blue and Gold dinner. Use it throughout the year to hold your neckerchief slides.

You need:

• Treasure Box Kit
• Blue Acrylic Paint
• Foam Brush
• Metallic Pony Beads
• Pearl Beads
• Chinese Coins
• Magnetic Flashing Buttons
• Low Temp Glue Gun, or Tacky Glue
• Tissue Paper

Instructions:

Glue foamie sides to edges of bottom. Let Dry. Glue six craft sticks to the front of box and six crafts sticks to the back of the box. Let dry. Sit the rounded foamie pieces in place on top of the foamie sides and glue crafts across to cover the whole top. Let dry. Run two included ribbons up the back and over top gluing in place. This will work as a hinge. Snip at top front. Run ribbons down the front for decoration. Glue a gold pony bead to the front. 

The kit includes a piece of elastic to use as enclosure but you don't  need it. Glue a pony bead on both side pieces near the back. This will hold the top open to show off the inside. Crumple up a piece of dark tissue paper to fill the treasure box. Place one or two blue and yellow flashing lights inside. Cover the tissue paper with Chinese coins, gold beads and pearl beads.
