First Meeting in January --
Daisy Crowns
Cost: About $2 per Daisy
The girls loved this project! I prepared the daisies before the meeting by gluing the pieces of straws to the backs. The girls strung the daisies and leaves and formed the crowns. My co-leader and I added the ribbons to the back.

We used the opportunity to talk to the girls about Juliette (Daisy) Low. For the scrapbook page, I precut the photos.

Learning the Girl Scout Promise
Cost: Just Paper
Before the meeting I precut the pieces for this project. The girls arranged the pieces and formed the hand into the Girl Scout Sign, gluing everything in place.

We used the opportunity to teach the Girl Scout promise and to prepare the girls for their Investiture.
