Daisy Scrapbook -- March

First Meeting in March --
Lucky Charms Bags & Magic Stones
Cost: About $1 per Daisy
I precut the pouches and punched the holes before our meeting. The girls did the sewing and decorating. We also went for a walk and each girl chose a small rock which she decorated with glitter and gems. These became our "lucky charms".

For the scrapbook page, I precut the shamrocks and let the girls layout the page anyway they liked.

Wallpaper Sit-Upon
Cost: About $1 per Daisy
There was a bit of preparation required for this project because of the girls' ages. I cut out their names and made the wallpaper pouches. The girls designed the sit upons by cutting out shapes and gluing them down with their names. My co-leader and I help them put the newspaper inside which I had prepared with the handle prior to the meeting. We finished them up with hot glue and contact paper.

We used the opportunity to take to the girls about traditions in girl scouting.
