First Meeting in November --
Daisy Friend Name Tags
Cost: About 50¢ per Daisy
I precut the dolls and glued them on swings and added yarn (see our Neckhangers). The girls cut out the hair, uniforms, and shoes.They glued them to the dolls and we wrote their name on it.

We used the opportunity to talk about scout uniforms and the different levels of girl scouting. Our Mini Friends were used to make the scrapbook page.

Second Meeting in November --
Nature Placemat for Thanksgiving
Cost: About $1 per Daisy
We walked around the school yard and picked up nicely colored leaves. I also brought plenty of leaves with me that I had pressed in phone book. The pressed leaves make a flatter placemat.

The girls arranged the leaves on contact paper. My co-leader and I applied the top piece of contact paper and trimmed up the finished product.

We used the opportunity to talk about the Thanksgiving feast and the change of season. I precut the photos and the leaves for the scrapbook pages.
