Luau Can Coolers
Fill with candy and wrap up in cellophane to make perfect luau party favors.

You need:

Foamie Can Hugger
Tropical Foamies
Raffia
Low Temp Glue Gun, or Tacky Glue
Masking Tape
Scissors

Instructions:

Tape both ends of a 24" piece of raffia to your work surface. Cut raffia into 8" lengths. Fold each piece in half and half hitch to the taped raffia by placing the folded end down behind the taped raffia and drawing the cord ends through the folded end loop. Pull snug. Diagram at right shows how a half hitch looks.

Continue half hitching cut pieces until you have enough to go all around the can hugger. Remove tape. Tie in place around the middle of the hugger. Trim ends and bottom. Glue on tropical foamies.
