Water Bottle Holder You choose the sport bead and the colors
to customize a water bottle holder to take with you to your games and
clip to your sport bag.
Cut two 4 ft. pieces of plastic craft lace. One of each
color. Tie them on the metal swivel piece in your kit so the same
colors are opposite each other; (fig. A).
Fold strand 1 to opposite side leaving a small loop; (fig. B). Fold strand 3 to opposite
side leaving a small loop. Hold strands in place with one hand.
With your other hand, weave strand 2 over strand 3 and under strand 1. Weave strand 4 over
strand 1 and under strand 3; (fig. C) Pull tightly, stretching the cord slightly to
secure. Continue until you have about 3" braid. String 3 pony beads onto each strand.
Tie off securely and trim.
Tie a total of 7 knots. String on a sport ball bead and push it
all the way up. Tie about 15 more knots or as long as you want to
make it.
Repeat from the first step to make the second strand. Tie each one
on to one of the openings in the plastic ring. Double knot. String
two pony beads on each piece of plastic lace. Knotting to hold
beads in place. Trim.
Slide the plastic ring around the neck of the bottle to use.
