You Need:

  • Sewing Machine
  • Straight-Leg Jeans
  • 1 Yard of fabric
  • Thread
  • Scissors
  • Tissue Paper
  • Marker or Pen
  • Pins

Instructions:

Open up the outer leg seams of jeans to just above the knee. Lay pants out on one side spreading the bottom of the leg to make a bell. Place tissue paper over bell area and trace opening and bottom edge. Add a 1/2" all around for a seam. Using your tissue paper pattern, cut two triangles out of your fabric. Turn jeans inside out and pin fabric to seams of jeans. Sew fabric in place following old seams as a sewing guide. Hem.
