Woven Basket with Beads
Choose green for juniors, brown for brownies, blue and yellow for cubs or tan for webelos. Assorted colors for everyone!

You need:

• 25 Yards of Yarn in Two Colors
• Foamie Weaver
• Pony Beads
• Scissors

Our kit make 6 baskets in your choice of colors.

Instructions:

It's easiest to roll yarn into a ball before beginning. This will keep it from getting tangled as you weave. 

Beginning near the middle of the foamie weaver, weave yarn inside, then outside the foamie tabs working your way completely around the basket. Make sure the yarn is pulled snug and pushed up as close to the middle as possible. Continue weaving in this manner. The tabs will begin to bend upward as you pull the yarn snug. When changing color, no need to tie off. Just place the tail between two of the tabs. The yarn will hold and you can weave. 

Beads need to be added before you begin weaving a piece of yarn. String on 16 beads moving them down the yarn 1 foot. Slide the beads one at a time into the weaving as you work.

Work the yarn till you only have about 1/4" of foam showing. Trim any access and tuck in ends.
