Cut cord into 12" pieces. Stiffen
the ends with tacky glue to keep from fraying.
Fold cord in half and half hitch to a safety pin by placing the folded
end down through the pin and drawing the cord ends down through the
folded end loop. Diagram at right shows how a key ring would look with
cord half hitched to it. Slide one or two wooden beads on each string.
To add the decorative wooden charm, slide the left hand cord through
the metal ring, left to right. Slide the right hand cord through the
metal ring, right to left. Tie in a small bow. Add a drop of glue.
Trim.
The gift package wooden charms have red bow to glue to charm.
The Christmas tree is done a little different. Start by stringing
the cord through the hole in the top of the tree. String the left hand
cord, left to right through a larger round bead. String the
right hand cord, right to left through the same hole. Add a second
bead if desired. Tie onto a pin. Add a dab of glue. Trim.
